Terms & Conditions
The Federal Republic of Somalia Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) is the sole authority responsible for adjudicating visa applications submitted by applicants. All visa issuance procedures are governed by the rules and laws established by Immigration and Citizenship Agency in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The applicant is solely responsible for accurately completing all sections of the visa application form. Any consequences resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided in the application are the applicant's responsibility.
Once a visa is issued, no modifications can be made.
The issued visa is strictly personal and non-transferable. Transfer of the visa to another individual is neither permitted nor requestable.
If incorrect information is provided in the application form, no refund or amendment will be made to the issued visa. In such cases, a new visa application must be submitted.
The visa application fee must be paid in full by the applicant to initiate processing. If the fee is not paid, the application will not proceed.
The application centre reserves the right to decline any visa application at its discretion, without providing a reason. In such cases, the application fee will be refunded to the applicant using the original payment method. The application centre is not liable for any delays or losses resulting from this decision.
Visa holders must exit Somalia before the expiration of their permitted stay. The applicant acknowledges and accepts responsibility for any penalties incurred due to visa overstay or violation.
In rare instances, technical issues may prevent the approved visa PDF file from being downloaded from the electronic system. Should such issues occur, ICA is not liable for delays resulting from technical defects.
All visa-related procedures adhere strictly to the laws and regulations of the Federal Government of Somalia.
The approved visa in PDF format will be sent to the email address specified in the 'E-mail for receiving your visa' section of the application form. Immigration and Citizenship Agency bears no responsibility for any delivery issues arising from:
- Incorrect email addresses provided by the applicant.
- Emails blocked by spam filters.
Applicants are advised to track their application status and download the approved visa via the Application Tracking page on etas.gov.so. ICA holds no obligation to notify applicants via email or other communication methods.
Although passport control officers can verify eTAS information directly, applicants are advised to carry a printed or digital copy of their electronic visa (e.g., on a smartphone or tablet) in case of system outages.
The applicant's passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Somalia. If this condition is not met, the applicant may be denied entry into Somalia. ICA and the application centre assume no responsibility in such instances.

By providing personal information, you consent to its use for evaluating travel eligibility and for contact purposes before, during, and after your stay in the country. If the requested information is not provided, the Federal Government of the Republic of Somalia will be unable to process your application, thereby restricting your ability to travel to Somalia.
Modification & Submission of Your eTAS
Prior to submitting an application and payment, applicants can correct all data fields. If an application is submitted with errors, a new application may be required, incurring a separate fee for each new submission.
Single Entry
The eTAS issued is a Single Entry permit, allowing the applicant to enter Somalia only once, within the approved dates specified on the visa.
Visa Validity Period
The visa validity period begins on the “Arrival Date in Somalia” specified by the applicant in the application. Entry to Federal Republic of Somalia must occur within 180 days from this date (inclusive). If not, the visa will no longer be valid. Both the start and end dates of validity are clearly stated on the eTAS.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Once the visa application service has commenced with payment completion, the application fee paid by the applicant is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Payments made by credit, debit, or prepaid cards for visa applications cannot be reversed or recovered through chargeback procedures. No refunds will be issued for application fees, regardless of the circumstances.
Applicants acknowledge that virtual payment systems are solely intermediaries for collecting application fees and are not responsible for refunds.
In the event of any chargeback attempt by the applicant, details of services rendered, approved visas, service invoices, the applicant’s personal information, IP address, location data, and other relevant information will be utilized to file a criminal complaint with the appropriate authorities.
